About the event
Valiant children will:
Learn about 'Project Connect' and discuss the process of gathering donations, collected to support homeless students in Cincinnati by the Little Miami and Montgomery ward Valiant children. Learn more here: https://www.cps-k12.org/our-community/project-connect/how-you-can-help
Create encouraging cards for children who receive weekend meals through 'Blessings in a Backpack'. Learn more here: https://www.blessingsinabackpack.org
Make braided dog toys to be given to & used by 'The League for Animal Welfare' out of recycled t-shirts collected by the Cherry Grove ward Valiant children. Learn more here: : https://www.lfaw.org/with
Paint “happy rocks” to place in local parks, spreading kindness and positivity throughout the community. Planned by the Eastgate ward Valiant children.
Decorate paper hearts, cut out and supplied by the Milford ward Valiant children, for "heart attacking" a neighbor or friend.
